Notice how placing the values on the map

pH = 6.83 | CO2 = 60 | HCO3 = 10 |
This is a severe acidosis with a pH of 6.83. You can see that both the CO2 and the HCO3 are deep into acidosis : A COMBINED METABOLIC AND RESPIRATORY ACIDOSIS
